Starter Hiroki Kuroda suffered his shortest outing of the season, allowing four earned runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings. Manny Ramirez's home run in the ninth was the 535th of his career, moving him into sole possession of 16th place on the all-time list, breaking a tie with Jimmie Foxx.
