With an RBI double and his 15th homer, Joe Mauer gave the Twins life early and late, but a subpar outing from fill-in starter Anthony Swarzak was the difference in a loss to the surging Yankees. Bob Keppel provided 3 2/3 innings of scoreless relief, keeping his ERA on the season at 0.00.
