The Mets found themselves in a sizable hole before they even took their first cuts, as the Dodgers scored four off Livan Hernandez in the first inning and kept the heat on. Though the Mets got good cuts against team nemesis Randy Wolf, they couldn't avoid losing their fifth game out of their past six contests.
