Tommy Hunter left after throwing 104 pitches in six innings. (Kevin P. Casey/AP)
Rookie Tommy Hunter held the Mariners scoreless for six innings before turning the game over to the bullpen, but C.J. Wilson allowed a three-run shot in the eighth and Texas' lone run against Seattle ace Felix Hernandez was no longer enough in the first of four games between the rivals.
