Sidney Ponson did all the Royals could ask of him, tossing six scoreless innings against the Rangers and allowing only five hits. But the Royals couldn't give him any support, and he left a scoreless tie, which was broken in the seventh on Alberto Callaspo's missed catch on a popup.
