Rich Hill, fighting to stay in the rotation, didn't present his best case, allowing three runs in only 2 1/3 innings before exiting. The Orioles, who received a homer and two RBIs from All-Star Adam Jones, fought back, tying the game in the fifth. But Kansas City went back up in the seventh.
