Facing Pedro Martinez for the first time as a Phillie, the Mets chipped away after Oliver Perez gave up six first-inning runs. However, despite two homers from Angel Pagan (including an inside-the-park shot), they couldn't deny their former teammate the win as Jeff Francoeur lined into an unassisted triple play to end the game.
