Starter Matt Garza pitched well through the first three innings, his only mistake a solo homer by Detroit's Brandon Inge. But his game fell apart in the fourth inning, when he allowed three consecutive RBI doubles. Gabe Kapler tried to spark a rally with a solo homer of his own in the ninth, but it wasn't enough.
