After Scott Baker gave up the lead in the seventh, the Twins chipped away in the eighth, as pinch-runner Carlos Gomez moved to third on Brendan Harris' game-tying single, then scored on Mike Redmond's fielder's choice. Nick Punto added a suicide squeeze, and Minnesota held on despite Joe Nathan's shaky ninth.
