Jonathan Sanchez certainly pitched well enough to win, giving up just one run over six impressive innings, but his counterpart, Cole Hamels, was even better, shutting out the Giants on just two hits. With the loss and Colorado's win, San Francisco fell a game back in the NL Wild Card race.
