It seems as though the Blue Jays' output in the blowout series opener wore them out, as in the three games since, they didn't have enough to overtake the Rangers. Lyle Overbay and Randy Ruiz did their best to lift Toronto with home runs, but the club nevertheless came up short in Texas.
