The Red Sox found themselves battling back all night, and thanks to a wild pitch by J.P. Howell in the top of the eighth inning, were able to tie the game. However, Ramon Ramirez and Manny Delcarmen combined to get one out and allowed three runs in the bottom of the eighth.
