Brewers 2, Giants 1
Jonathan Sanchez struck out nine batters over his six innings. (Morry Gash/AP)
By JR Radcliffe / Special to MLB.com
The Giants weren't able to take three in a row from the Brewers despite Jonathan Sanchez giving up just one run over six innings. Merkin Valdez, in his second inning of work, gave up a decisive homer in the 12th, and San Francisco dropped two games back in the Wild Card race.
