Texas, which entered Tuesday 2 1/2 games behind Boston in the AL Wild Card and five behind L.A. in the AL West, had plenty of offense in the nightcap of a twin bill to finish a sweep of the Tribe. Marlon Byrd, who had four hits and a big homer in Game 1, added three hits in Game 2.
