Kevin Mulvey's inability to contain the Rockies early looked like it would send the D-backs to a loss. But trailing in the fourth inning, Arizona tied it on Brandon Allen's two-run homer and took the lead on Gerardo Parra's two-out, two-run double in the seventh. The bullpen, meanwhile, was dominant against the Rockies.
a-Struck out for Mulvey in the 4th. b-Walked for Schlereth in the 6th. c-Popped out for Schoeneweis in the 8th.
