Twins 6, Tigers 2
Carl Pavano kept the Twins close, setting up the eighth-inning comeback. (Ann Heisenfelt/AP)
By Kelly Thesier / MLB.com
Held in check most of the day by Justin Verlander, the Twins received new life when Detroit's Don Kelly lost an Orlando Cabrera drive in the Metrodome roof, setting up Jason Kubel's go-ahead double and Michael Cuddyer's three-run homer. Two weeks ago, the Twins trailed the Tigers by seven games. Now, it's only two.
