No sweep
Photos
Tigers 6, Twins 2
Detroit's Placido Polanco is late with the tag as Matt Tolbert steals second base. (AP)
After frustrating the Tigers in the first two games of the series, the Twins weren't able to complete the sweep. Scott Baker was chased as Detroit scored three times in the fifth to take the lead, and Minnesota finished the weekend three games behind Detroit in the AL Central. The Twins had won six games in a row.
