Rangers 15, Rays 3
Matt Garza allowed the first six runs of the 11-run fifth inning. (Mike Fuentes/AP)
By Bill Chastain / MLB.com
The Rays got early runs courtesy of a Jason Bartlett double in the second followed by a Gregg Zaun solo home run in the fourth. Their offense, however, couldn't pull its way out of the crater-sized hole created by the pitching staff. Matt Garza allowed seven runs, six of which scored during the fifth frame.
