Angels 5, Rangers 0

Matt Palmer allowed one hit through five scoreless innings, and the bullpen finished the shutout, holding the Rangers hitless for the duration. The combined one-hitter was the Angels' first since July 2004 despite manager Mike Scioscia resting his regulars for much of the game.
