Ian Snell tossed a quality start -- the fourth straight by a Mariner -- and stood to win, but with a one-run lead in the eighth, the bullpen faltered. Mark Lowe yielded the tying run and David Aardsma gave up the winning run in the ninth. The Mariners will finish the season in third place.
