Pablo Sandoval tumbled into the dugout making a catch in the eighth inning, allowing the tying run to score, but he escaped injury and slugged a homer in the 10th to cap his breakout campaign and the Giants' season with a victory. Jonathan Sanchez hurled 5 1/3 solid innings.
