Q: How can I ensure my uniform will fit?
Upon completion of your registration form, our highly experienced clubhouse manager will be able to 'size you up' for your
full Yankees uniform with the measurements you have provided. They are surprisingly accurate!
Q: Do I need a rental car?
A: Transportation to and from the hotel to the George M. Steinbrenner Field and all social events is
provided for you and your guests. Transportation to and from the field is provided daily, as well as to and from social events.
It is up to you if you would like to rent a car.
Q: What is the dress code during the week of camp?
A: Casual wear is acceptable at the Opening Banquet and throughout the week. Please
note that the closing banquet requires a sports coat or tie.
Q: What is the average age of a camper?
A: The minimum age to participate is 30. The age of campers varies from 30 – 70.
Regardless of age each camper has an opportunity to play daily.
Q: Are family and friends allowed to attend camp functions?
A: It is encouraged that family and friends attend the Fantasy Camp. This special week is
an experience of a lifetime and should be shared with your loved ones. Guests can stay in
your room at no additional charge. Shuttle for you and your guests will be provided daily.
Q: What experience is necessary to attend camp?
A: No previous experience is needed. Just the love for the game.
Q: What equipment is needed during camp?
A: A New York Yankees team uniform will be provided as well as bats, batting helmets
and other baseball equipment. The camper will need to bring their own glove, cleats, and
anything else necessary for them to take the field.
Q: Are there photographers and videographers available to capture the week’s events?
A: Professional photographers will be on hand to capture photos of the week’s events. There will also be a video of the opening and closing banquet, kangaroo court, and Dream Game highlights available. Both photographs and videos will be made available for purchase.
Q: What is the Fantasy Camp Reunion?
A: The Fantasy Camp Reunion is held the following summer and coincides with Old Timers Weekend at Yankee Stadium. The November Camp reunion Is held the day before the Old Timers Game while the January Camp reunion is held the day after the Old Timers game. It is a one-day event that includes a ticket to the game and a pre-game reception in the Great Moments Room. You and up to two guests are invited to attend. Guests will be charged a fee for their game ticket and access to the reception.
