Gift Recipients
You must activate your gift in order to receive ALL benefits of your Yankees Universe membershuip including your Membership Card. The e-mail you received when you were notified of your gift included a special link to activate your membership.
If you have additional questions on how to activate your gift citizenship, please contact yankeesuniverse@yankees.mlb.com. Please note that all gift accounts for the 2009 season must be activated no later than 5 p.m. on September 27, 2009.
Yankees Universe Membership Card and New York Yankees Sticker
Your 2009 Yankees Universe Membership Card, New York Yankees Sticker will arrive 4-6 weeks after purchase. Neither the New York Yankees, nor MLB.com, are responsible for lost or stolen cards. Any 2009 Yankees Universe Card returned by the US Postal Service will be held at Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY until the conclusion of the 2009 Major League Baseball regular season and may be claimed by providing proof of identification. Cards may be replaced at the discretion of the New York Yankees. All inquiries regarding Yankees Universe Membership Cards should be sent to yankeesuniverse@yankees.mlb.com.
Automatic Renewals
AUTOMATICALLY RENEWING YOUR MEMBERSHIP FOR 2010
For your convenience, during the purchase process, you have the option to have your 2009 Yankees Universe Membership subscription automatically renew for the 2010 season. If you have selected the automatic renewal option, but would like to cancel it, you can do so by sending an e-mail requesting cancellation to yankeesuniverse@yankees.mlb.com before December 1, 2009. Renewed subscriptions cannot be cancelled, refunded, or credited -- in part or in whole -- after Spring Training starts.
Shop Discounts and Special Offers
All members of Yankees Universe will receive a 10% discount at official Yankees Clubhouse stores. Yankees Universe discounts are not valid for tickets, sale items, on-sale items or memorabilia and are subject to any other restrictions that may be imposed from time to time by the Yankees Clubhouse stores. The discount must be used at time of purchase and may only be received upon presentation of a valid proof of membership (Membership card or printed copy of confirmation e-mail reflecting purchase). The name on the Yankees Universe card must match the name on the credit card being used for purchase. Discounts may not be combined with any other offer. Discount not available at Yankee Stadium.
From time to time, Yankees Universe Members will receive special online offers that will be communicated to citizens via e-mail and/or on the Yankees Universe members-only section. All offers will be available for a limited time and are subject to availability.
2009 MLB.com® Gameday Audio
All Yankees Universe Members will receive a subscription to 2009 MLB.com Gameday Audio. MLB.com Gameday Audio allows fans to listen to live baseball games online, as well as the archives of those games. Yankees Universe MLB.com Gameday Audio subscription will expire on December 31, 2009. Yankees Universe Members-Only Section
All members of Yankees Universe will have access to special content on the members-only section with behind-the-scenes video of Yankee Stadium, player interviews, chats, photos and articles. You must have a valid yankees.com username and password to enter, and must have purchased a 2009 Yankees Universe Membership. The e-mail used upon sign-up will be your Yankees Universe Member e-mail. To ensure that each member can access their online benefits, please use a unique e-mail and password for each membership purchased.
For each 2009 regular season home game, all Yankees Universe Members (with valid ticket) may enter at Gate 2 without delay.
Fast Track Entry at Yankees Museum
For each Wednesday, Thursday afternoon and Sunday 2009 regular season home game, all Yankees Universe Members (with valid ticket) may enter Yankees Museum through a fast track entrance.
