In order to purchase a membership to Yankees Universe, you must complete the Yankees Universe order form at yankees.com/universe or call (800) GO-YANKS. You must provide complete and accurate information, including name, address, telephone number (e.g., home, work, mobile and fax), email address, valid payment card information and shipping address. The yankees.com Privacy Policy explains how such information may be collected and used. The e-mail address used at purchase or activation will be your Yankees Universe member login. You must use or, for gifts, provide a unique email address and password for each membership purchased. The New York Yankees and/or MLB.com reserve the right to decline service to or terminate any account for suspicious activity or violation of the terms of this page or the yankees.com Terms of Use. All new membership sales are final - there are no refunds, returns or exchanges. For additional questions regarding membership, please contact us. YOU MUST ACTIVATE YOUR OFFLINE PURCHASE TO RECEIVE ACCESS TO YOUR ONLINE BENEFITS. Use your activation code to sign up at yankees.com/activation for your online benefits, including access to 2012 MLB.com Gameday Audio for your PC and the Yankees Universe members-only section on yankees.com. In order to receive the online benefits of your 2012 Yankees Universe membership, we recommend that you activate your membership as soon as possible. If you no longer have your confirmation email and need a new activation code, then please call 800-GO-YANKS.
Yankees Universe MVP members must activate their memberships online before they will receive their ticket code. All Yankees Universe members must activate their membership online before they will receive their Yankee Stadium tour discount code.
For your convenience, you have the option to have your Yankees Universe membership automatically renew at the previous year's regular full price. Your automatically renewed membership may come with premiums (e.g., hat, sticker) of equal or greater value to the items provided as premiums in the previous year, though the exact type of premium(s) provided may change from year to year. Yankees Universe will contact members whose memberships are subject to automatic renewal via email by the spring of the following season to notify them of pending renewal. MLB.com will refund the paid purchase price of an automatically renewed 2012 Yankees Universe membership if a refund request is received by calling (800) GO-YANKS or by contacting yankeesuniverse@yankees.mlb.com within 10 days of your 2012 renewal date, which will be included in the email, sent to the email address associated with your account - notifying you of the renewal of your membership. There will be no returns, refunds or exchanges after this date. Please note: Under no circumstances will Yankees Universe MVP tier memberships be refunded once the two Field Level tickets have been requested.
Yankees Universe may determine, in its discretion, to discontinue a membership tier offered for purchase with automatic renewal. If that occurs, such memberships will not automatically renew. Yankees Universe will contact those members by email prior to the start of the next Yankees season to notify them of available membership options for that year's baseball season.
All 2011 Yankees Universe Explorer and MVP members who selected the automatic renewal option when originally purchasing their memberships and have not cancelled or purchased a new membership for 2012 will receive notification of the pending renewal in January 2012 and then automatically have their memberships renew approximately two weeks later. For information on refunds for automatically renewed 2012 memberships, please see above.
Gift memberships cannot be automatically renewed from year to year.
The policy is changing for 2013 renewals. If you purchase a 2012 membership and elect to have that membership automatically renew, and such membership tier is still available in 2013, then your membership will automatically renew approximately in February 2013, unless you contact us by Jan. 15, 2013, to opt to have the automatic renewal feature canceled. You will receive notification of the pending renewal in approximately February 2013 and then automatically have your membership renew approximately two weeks later. If you do not cancel before the date set forth in your notification email, then your membership will automatically renew approximately in February 2013 with no refunds, returns or exchanges.
We will contact your gift recipient via email to let him/her know that you have purchased a Yankees Universe membership on his/her behalf. Please be aware that the recipient will need to activate the membership using the link in the gift notification email in order to receive the Yankees Universe online benefits, so please be sure that the email address provided is correct.

Consistent with the MLB.com Privacy Policy, children under 13 are not eligible to register for an MLB.com account.
Welcome packages will be sent within three to four weeks of purchase, regardless of method of purchase. HOWEVER, YOU MUST ACTIVATE YOUR GIFT MEMBERSHIP TO RECEIVE THE ONLINE BENEFITS OF YOUR YANKEES UNIVERSE MEMBERSHIP. The email you receive when you are notified of your gift includes a special link and information on how to activate your membership online. You must click on that link and follow activation instructions.
NOTE: In order to receive the online benefits of your 2012 Yankees Universe gift membership, we recommend you activate your membership as soon as possible. You must activate by Sept. 1, 2012.

Your Yankees Universe welcome package contains your Personalized Membership Card and a Welcome Letter. Any additional items in your package will be based upon the tier you purchased.
Membership cards and welcome packages will begin to be shipped in December 2011. Please allow three to four weeks for delivery. Gift membership welcome packages will be shipped within approximately three to four weeks of purchase. Neither the New York Yankees nor MLB.com are responsible for lost or stolen shipments. Any 2012 membership cards returned by the U.S. Postal Service will be held at MLB.com, 75 Ninth Ave., New York, NY 10011 until the conclusion of the 2012 Major League Baseball regular season and may be claimed by the applicable Yankees Universe member by providing proof of identification to MLB.com. With the purchase of a Yankees Universe MVP membership, you will receive a code redeemable for two (2) Field Level tickets to a select 2012 regular-season New York Yankees game.** These tickets will not be included in the welcome package you receive in the mail. The redemption code will be emailed separately and made available to you on the Yankees Universe members-only section on yankees.com. Tickets will be available to you after single-game tickets have gone on sale in March 2012. The redemption code must be redeemed by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sept. 17, 2012.
** Two (2) Field Level tickets: Offer valid for two (2) Field Level tickets for one (1) regular-season 2012 home game, excluding all Premium Games. The term "Premium Games" is defined as the Opening Day game, the Old-Timers' Day game, all home games played against the Boston Red Sox and New York Mets and any other games designated by the Yankees and communicated to members via email, mail or the members-only section on yankees.com. The Yankees reserve the right to add or remove Premium Games at their sole discretion. This offer may only be redeemed online (i.e., mail, phone and in-person orders will not be accepted). In no event will the Yankees be liable to the ticket holder and/or ticket purchaser for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages or for lost profits, revenues or business opportunities even if the Yankees have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

WARNING: During all batting practices, fielding practices, warm-ups and the course of the game and postseason game experience, hard hit baseballs and bats and fragments thereof may be thrown or hit into the stands, concourses and concessions areas. For the safety of every Guest, all Guests must stay alert and be aware of their surroundings. Guests who are concerned with their seat location should contact any Guest Services representative for an alternate seat location.
All game dates, quantities and seat locations of the tickets offered to Yankees Universe members shall be subject to availability and determined by the New York Yankees, in their sole and absolute discretion.
Time, opponent, date and club rosters and lineups, including the New York Yankees roster and lineup, are subject to change.
Members of Yankees Universe will have access to special offers and content on the members-only section of yankees.com. You must have a valid Yankees Universe user name and password to log in. The email address used at purchase or activation will be your Yankees Universe member login.
