ATTENTION ALL A'S FANS: WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!

Longs Drugs will once again be the presenting sponsor, in partnership with Kimberly-Clark for this year's Breast Cancer Awareness Day. The recipients of this year's fundraising efforts are American Cancer Society and Northern California Cancer Center. The day centers around a pre-game survivor luncheon and on-field ceremony. During the emotional procession, hundreds of breast cancer survivors form a human ribbon in the outfield and release pink balloons in the sky in remembrance of those lost. New this year will be the opportunity for fans and families of the survivors to participate in "A Walk In The Park" which will involve a walk around the warning track of the field during the pre-game ceremony to show their support for the cause.

The fundraising process for Breast Cancer Awareness Day has already begun and will continue through Sunday, September 12th. 2004 commemorative pins and caps will be sold behind Section 120 as well as raffle tickets for a custom made pink Malagutti scooter courtesy of Sutter Home Winery (pictured at right) and a quilt that is autographed by the 2004 team. If you can't make it to the game to purchase any of these packages, but would still be interested in supporting the cause, you can click on the link above and be a part of a team that is committed to striking out breast cancer! Please join us in helping to raise money for breast cancer research as we honor breast cancer survivors and educate fans about breast cancer.
