1973 World Series Champions Reunion Weekend

The Swingin' A's will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1973 World Series championship on Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27. Former players from the 1973 A's championship team will take part in autograph sessions and the team will be honored in an on-field ceremony, starting at 12:30 p.m., prior to the Saturday game. In addition, 10,000 fans will receive a Reggie Jackson Bobblehead, presented by Pepsi, upon entrance to the ballpark on Saturday. The bobblehead commemorates Jackson's home run in Game 7 of the 1973 World Series.

See below for special autograph sessions on Friday and Saturday. Proceeds from all events during the weekend will benefit the Jim "Catfish" Hunter ALS Foundation and A's Community Fund.

1973 World Series Reunion - Autograph Sessions
Friday, April 26

Visit the Bar & Grille on Friday, April 26 to take part in autograph sessions with players from the 1973 World Series champion Oakland A's. Tickets for all sessions will go on sale outside the Bar & Grille doors, near Section 217, at 5:35 p.m. Autograph tickets are $20 per session. A limited number of autograph tickets are available for sale. Autograph sessions will begin at 6:15 p.m.. Autograph session proceeds benefit the Jim "Catfish" Hunter ALS Foundation and A's Community Fund.

Players scheduled to attend: Sal Bando, Vida Blue, Pat Bourque, Bert "Campy" Campaneris, Billy Conigliaro, Ray Fosse, Dick Green, Ken Holtzman, Darold Knowles, Ted Kubiak, Irv Noren (Coach), Billy North, John "Blue Moon" Odom, Joe Rudi, Wes Stock (Coach), and Gene Tenace.

Must have an April 26 game ticket to attend the autograph event. Presale autograph tickets are not available. Scheduled players and times are subject to change.

On Saturday, April 27, visit the Bar & Grille for a special Hall of Fame Autograph Session with Oakland A's greats. This event will feature Hall of Fame players Rollie Fingers and Reggie Jackson. Autograph tickets are $50 per session. Each session will last 20 minutes and feature one player. Tickets will go on sale outside the Bar & Grille doors, near Section 217, at 11:05 a.m. A limited number of autograph tickets are available for sale. Autograph Session proceeds benefit the Jim "Catfish" Hunter ALS Foundation and A's Community Fund.

Must have an April 27 game ticket to attend the autograph event. Presale autograph tickets are not available. Scheduled players and times are subject to change.

A's fans have the opportunity to meet members of the 1973 World Series Champion Oakland A's on Saturday, April 27 prior to the game vs. the Baltimore Orioles. Among the former players scheduled to attend are Hall of Fame outfielder Reggie Jackson, Hall of Fame pitcher Rollie Fingers, Vida Blue, Bert "Campy" Campaneris, Dick Green, Ken Holtzman, Joe Rudi, and Gene Tenace. Held at O.co Coliseum, the event is from 10:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Enjoy light appetizers while mingling with Oakland A's greats. Meet & Greet participants will be guaranteed a Reggie Jackson Bobblehead, presented by Pepsi, that game's gate giveaway, at the conclusion of the event. The $150 tax deductable donation per fan will support the Jim "Catfish" Hunter ALS Foundation and the A's Community Fund.
