Free asthma screenings, First Base and Third Base Gate entrances, until the 7th inning, Citizens Bank Park.
Teva Respiratory and the Phillies are partnering to educate the community about the signs and symptoms of asthma and exercise-induced bronchospasm (EIB), two conditions that continue to severely affect many families in the Philadelphia region. For the third consecutive year, Teva Respiratory is hosting Phillies Asthma Awareness Night in partnership with the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI). All fans attending that night's Phillies game will have the opportunity to receive a free asthma screening. Healthcare professionals will be on-site to assess those experiencing signs and symptoms such as coughing, shortness of breath or wheezing, and determine if they are at risk for asthma or EIB and direct them to their own healthcare provider if appropriate.
