In honor of Black History Month, the Phillies will join Saint Joseph's University in hosting a special screening of the Phillies' documentary, "They Said We couldn't Play: An Oral History of the Philadelphia Stars." Held at 6 p.m. in Wolfington Teletorium of the Haub School of Business, the event will also feature a panel discussion with Dan Stephenson, Phillies writer and producer of the documentary, Rob Holiday, Phillies Director of Amateur Scouting Administration; Kenny Johnson, Phillies Coordinator of Multicultural Outreach, and Dr. Mahlene Duckett Lee, who is the daughter of the late Philadelphia Stars' player Mahlon Duckett, and also worked with Major League Baseball to develop a curriculum for educating youth about the Negro Leagues. The curriculum will be debuted at a local school later this month, and will also be featured at the Philadelphia Phillies MLB Youth Academy during the year. Also taking part will be Dr. John B. Lord, Professor of Marketing at SJU and baseball historian, and Sara Lomax-Reese, President and CEO of WURD radio. The event is also part of SJU's Sport for Social Change and Social Justice Speaker Series.

The Phillies Phestival, annual autograph and auction party, to help strike out ALS will be held at Citizens Bank Park.
Citizens Bank Park will host the inaugural Craft Beer and Wine Festival, which will feature over 100 craft beer and wine vendors, food vendors, and musical entertainment, as well as appearances by the Phillies Phanatic and other celebrities. Along with the craft beer and wine samples, ticket holders will receive free parking, a voucher for two (2) Phillies tickets, and a special opportunity to "walk the bases" and get a picture in the Phillies dugout. The event runs from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. VIP tickets allow those guests to access the Hall of Fame Club VIP Area with one-hour early entry, at 2:00 pm, and additional select beer and wine samples.
