April 3, 2006 Hello Fans, Today is my 20th Opening Day, and I still get excited about playing, much like I did when I experienced my first. I can hardly believe that this time last year I was on the DL not knowing when I'd be back on the field. Right now, I am preparing myself to be in baseball mode and get into my routine. I can't wait to get out there and start the season. Right now, I feel really comfortable on the field. My legs are strong and have held up well, and my knee feels great. As a team, the key for us this year is that we stay healthy, especially since a lot of us are older players. My new TV documentary show, "Bonds on Bonds" premieres Tuesday night. There are many people working on this project helping to make it a success, and it is really amazing to see all the behind-the-scenes stuff of how the documentary is put together. What I am most excited about is that my fans will get to see a side of me that isn't often portrayed to the public. This show is real, and it is me. I would like to share with my fans some of the e-mails that I have been receiving in the past few weeks. Tanya, Oregon "Barry, I am totally supporting you 100 percent and I LOVE watching you play baseball. I don't care what other's say or think. My opinion of you won't ever change. Thanks for having a Web site where we can see pictures and read up on you. It is way cool. Again, you are AWESOME!! Keep up the great work. One of your biggest fans."
