July 1, 2005 Hello Fans, It's been a couple weeks since my last update, but there really hasn't been much to report. My rehab has been the same. Last week my knee slightly swelled, so I'll be taking it easy, sticking with range of motion and strengthening exercises. This is all part of rehabilitation, so as long as I pace myself correctly I will be able to work through this swelling as I did with the infection. At this point in the season my outlook is still positive. On June 24, I did a signing for TOPPS Series 2 2005 Auto Relics, TOPPS Total Domination, Fan Favorites Chrome, Turkey Red Auto Relic and Retro. We placed my personal hologram as well as MLB's hologram on the back of each card. TOPPS will be inserting the cards in packs, which will be coming out soon. Good luck to the fans out there who are collectors! I especially like the Turkey Red card, which has a suede finish. TOPPS also presented me with a book that has all of my baseball cards and my father's cards that TOPPS has ever made of the two of us. There were a few cards I didn't even remember seeing before. This is one of my dad's from when he played with the Cubs. I have been receiving a lot of emails regarding the orange HR-Man t-shirt I train in. It's been available in my store now for about a week or two. If you take a look in the store you will see that I have put together a few more items. You will also find my HR-Man Microfleece pullover and the Microfibre T-shirt. These are all items that I wear while I'm training. While speaking with McFarlane Toys, they were able to find a few Limited Edition figurines for me to place in the store. I signed one of the 12" figurines for Joe Hallock, our 2005 Bobby and Barry Bonds Father's Day Sweepstakes Winner. Take a look at the winner's page. I would like to thank McFarlane Toys, Majestic Athletic and PhotoFile for helping to make the first Bobby and Barry Bonds Father's Day Sweepstakes a success. Talk about a success - over the last couple of weeks I have been following the ASU baseball team on their road to the College World Series. Even though they fell short in the end, I was so proud of them. It really says a lot about their team to make it as far as they did, beating out top ranked schools. After spending time with the team in March discussing hitting fundamentals, I knew they were a special group of players. My hat goes off to these talented guys and Coach Murphy on a great season!
Happy 4th of July,
