Hello Fans,
I'm back at HealthSouth with Dr. Yocum and Clive working on my knee. There was a little swelling after all those games, but it was a good test to see how my knee would handle the pressure. I do know that when the 2006 season starts, I will be at 100% and ready to play. Soon, I will be taking a break from rehab and spend my time taking my daughter to school, hanging out with my wife and working on plans for my 2006 website. I also like to watch the post-season baseball games as well as some football.
I would like to thank all my fans who have helped make this season great. September was one of our biggest months with over a half-million visitors to the site. I'm presently in the process of picking the September winner of a signed product. Remember to e-mail me because I pick the winners from the emails you send in. You never know who will win or get a shout out.
This year we had two really nice promotions. The first was the May Fan Sweepstakes, where three fans won my seats to watch a game. Each winner was able to bring along three guests. It was so nice to meet and spend some time with the winners. We also had the second Bobby and Barry Bonds Father's Day Sweepstakes. Next year, we are looking to step it up a notch with a few more giveaways. My licensees will also be holding promotions that will coincide with the 2006 season. Right now, I'm working on four more Limited Edition TOPPS cards that you can only get from me. Once Tony finishes the designs, I will post them so you can see them before they go into production. I would also like to thank New Era, Majestic, Franklin, McFarlane, PhotoFile and Getty Images, as well as all my other licensees for producing hundreds of high quality Bonds products this year. We have all worked hard to stock the store with items that my fans have requested. The fan and collector feedback has been really positive.
Presently, we are in the redesign stage of the site. With the new look you will get to see my design side. I'm still thinking about which items from my personal archives that I will put in to the Club House Collection next season. Also, because a lot of friends and fans have asked for a fitted hat, New Era just added a fitted #25 hat to my store. Take a look.
At the end of this month, I will be doing my last signing with TOPPS for 2005. The signing will include dual cards with Jay-Z, A-Rod, Albert Pujols, Harmon Killebrew, Stan Musial and others. Make sure you look for them in TOPPS packs.
During the offseason I will be updating the site once or twice a month. However, I will be answering e-mails, giving shout outs and selecting a winner for each month.
