The Giants were in town to play the Dodgers so Liz, Barry's wife, and "Team Bonds" planned a 40th surprise birthday party at Lucky Strike Lanes Hollywood. Everyone wore hats "Bonds still bowling 'em over at 40"

Over 300 friends, family as well as San Francisco Giants teammates & coaches came and celebrated with us.

Team Barry would like to thank Barry's friends and invited guest Mary Hart from Entertainment Tonight, who did a fabulous job covering the birthday party on June 28 for E.T. which then aired on Tuesday, June 29.

Birthday Message from Barry

Hello Fans,

My friends and family surprised me with an awesome 40th birthday party at Lucky Strike Lanes in Los Angeles. This was a big surprise since my birthday isn't until the end of July. It was very emotional & overwhelming seeing so many people that I've known throughout the years in one place. I even got a minute in to bowl and this is one sport where I can deal with the strikes.
