How Can I Pitch In?

Basic school supplies are an essential part of our program. The money you donate will help provide notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, hand sanitizer, Kleenex, printing paper, activity books and so much more to help the kids of Pitch In succeed! |
Over the past three decades, childhood obesity rates in America have tripled. One-third of all children born in 2000 or later will suffer from diabetes at some point in their lives. Many others will face chronic obesity-related health problems like heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer and asthma. One of the goals of Pitch In is to promote a healthy lifestyle so kids can concentrate on learning. Will you join us by donating toward our healthy snacks fund?
Wood Family Foundation wants everyone to Pitch In! If your organization is interested in becoming an in-kind partner, or you can offer Field Trip Experiences for the kids, please contact Alex Scheidemantel.
Be a Mentor
Why get involved? Simply put, because you can make a difference in a child's life, as well as your own. Consider the many benefits that mentoring offers: enhancing academic success, reducing juvenile crime, increasing self-esteem, revealing new opportunities for kids and strengthening communities.
New to mentoring? We've got you covered! WFF will provide summer training and set you up for success! The most important attributes for mentors are a caring heart and commitment to making a difference!
