Welcome to the 2012 Season Ticket Licensee scrapbook. The 2012 season created memories that will stay with us forever. In addition to winning the division crown and the No. 1 seed in the American League, the team finished with a league best 51 wins at home, proving yet again that Yankees fans are truly the best in baseball.

We have put together some of the best moments of 2012 in one convenient online location. Thank you for your loyalty and support. We hope you enjoy and we look forward to seeing you at the Stadium this season.

Jorge Posada Press Conference

On January 24, 2012, a Yankees legend and a member of the “Core Four” held his last press conference at Yankee Stadium. A somber day for Yankees fans as they said goodbye to one of the great catchers in Yankees history, but a proud day for four-time World Champion, Jorge Posada who reflected on his illustrious Yankees career.

"I could never have worn another uniform. It was just priceless. I will forever be a Yankee."

Rookie Social

As the Yankees were just getting settled into a new season, "Rookie" Season Ticket Licensees were getting accustomed to some of the many benefits of being a Season Ticket Licensee. On April 30, May 1, and May 2, more than 500 Licensees attended the New York Yankees Rookie Social. Licensees got to meet their dedicated Season Ticket Sales and Service Account Executive and learn about the many exclusive Licensee benefits, all while enjoying light food and beverages. These "Rookies" also got a special visit from Mickey Rivers and Brian Cashman, who thanked fans for their support of the team while taking photos and signing autographs.

"Nick, I want to commend you and your colleagues for a thoroughly enjoyable evening (despite the chill). The buffet was great, but more importantly, the hospitality was even better. Everyone we met was cordial and helpful. My Red Sox fan buddy was quite impressed with the whole event and the Stadium. Thankfully the game ended with a Yankee win so I had a great ride home. I look forward to meeting you again." Thanks, Fran DePeter

Postgame Press Conference

For the first time ever, Licensees experienced a behind-the-scenes look as the Yankees coaching staff addressed the media about the upcoming opponent and game. At the conclusion of the pregame press conference, Licensees were treated to their own private tour of Yankee Stadium.

"The big treat, of course, was the press conference, something the ordinary person does not get to do. The tour around was also fun and interesting." - Robert Meltzer

On various weekends throughout the season, Licensees received a once in a lifetime opportunity. This opportunity just happened to be for a slightly younger group of fans. A short time after the Yankees players ran off the field at the conclusion of the game, a new, eager, fresh set of legs stepped on. Ready and waiting for their turn to do their best impression of Derek Jeter rounding first base, young Yankees fans rounded the bases as the Season Ticket Sales and Service department cheered them on. As they crossed home, fans were greeted with cheers and high fives.

"I was impressed how much they put into it. From sprucing up the field after the game, the projection of the kids on the big screen, music playing, and letting family go down as well to take pictures (I can't believe I've been on the track in the stadium now!). The commemorative shirts for the kids were a really nice and classy touch. The discount on the pictures was greatly appreciated and thus we were able to buy both." - Cynthia Piccirillo

"My kids that participated had a great time and will have that memory forever." - Paul DiMauro

"Thanks for everything. My son couldn't have been happier." - Steve Young

Chalk Talk

Throughout the season, Licensees shared a room and participated in a question and answer session with the likes of manager Joe Girardi and center fielder Curtis Granderson. At the conclusion of the session, Licensees were able to meet the special guest, shake hands, take photos, and sometimes even received an autographed ball.

Inside Experience

Licensees were given the true definition of an Inside Experience at the Stadium this season. After a detailed Yankee Stadium tour, Licensees were given the opportunity to take photos with Yankees World Series trophies, as well as meet current Yankees players. As a special treat, Guests of the Inside Experience were given a 2001 and 2009 Yankees World Series ring to wear while posing for pictures.

On a warm Sunday in August, Licensees received unparalleled access to Yankees player and coaches, getting a chance to snap pictures of their favorite team members. As if it couldn't get any better, they were able to do so on the field. Lining the warning track, Licensees of all ages greeted and interacted with their favorite players.

"Photo day was great we had an awesome time. The boys got fist bumps from a bunch of players. VERY COOL!!!" - Kevin Saul

"It was amazing, about 100 times better than I could have ever imagined. The opportunity to be on the field and meet the players is something I will never forget."- Christine Schlendorf

Q&A with Alex and Andy

On Friday, August 17, Guests at Yankee Stadium witnessed a 6-4 win against the Boston Red Sox. Unlike most people in attendance that night, select Licensees arrived to the Stadium early, and were treated to the unique opportunity to have a question and answer session with Yankees greats Alex Rodriguez and Andy Pettitte. Delving into World Series memories, pregame rituals, their family life and other stories, A-Rod and Andy had a blast interacting with Licensees for over an hour.

World Yacht

On Thursday, August 23, select Season Ticket Licensees were invited for a summer night's cruise along the Hudson River aboard the World Yacht Rendezvous. This was no ordinary cruise, as some very special guests were along for the ride. Yankees greats Mickey Rivers, Roy White, and Bernie Williams were on board and spent the night interacting with Licensees who enjoyed refreshments and music.

Season Ticket Licensee of the Game

Licensees deserve to be recognized as often as possible. As a result, the Season Ticket Sales and Service department has created the Season Ticket Licensee of the Game program. In addition to the pregame video board interview, the Licensee received a photo commemorating their special moment.

"I personally wanted to say thank you for everything on Sunday. My family and I have not stopped talking about it. Not to mention, we are the envy of all of our friends. I really appreciate you putting that together for all of us, especially for my dad."- Alyssa Cantwell
