Mariners FAQ

  SAFECO FIELD POLICY

  • What time do the gates open?
All gates open two hours prior to game time. Gate times may vary for special events such as Opening Day and the Postseason.
  • What is your ticket policy regarding children?
Children, two years of age and under, do not require a ticket to attend a game, provided they sit on the lap of an accompanying adult. Once a child turns three, they will need their own ticket to enter the ballpark.
  • Can I bring a bag into the ballpark?
Guests may bring in bags that do not exceed 16"x16"x8" which must be stored under the seat. Security personnel are required to open all bags at the gates for visual inspection before entry. Hard-sided coolers are not permitted into the ballpark.

  CONTACTING PLAYERS, COACHES, AND ANNOUNCERS

  • How do I get autographs?
Players will sign autographs at their discretion. It's best to come to a game and try waiting above or near the dugouts during batting practice.
Autographed specialty items are also for sale at all 5 Mariners Team Store locations.
  • How do I contact a player, coach, or broadcaster?
Written inquiries should be sent to:
    Player/Coach/Broadcaster name
    Seattle Mariners
    PO Box 4100
    Seattle, WA 98194

Because of the volume of mail received at Safeco Field daily, sending items other than letters or pictures is discouraged, especially items that need to be returned. The Mariners are not responsible for lost or unreturned items.
