To redeem your T-shirt (while supplies last) and drink voucher, present your ticket pre-game in the Outside Corner (near Section 330). Your drink voucher is only valid until First Pitch in the Outside Corner and T-shirts will be distributed until the end of the 4th inning.

Event Information

Join us for our first ever Battle at the Ballpark here at Safeco Field! This is a team throwdown competition with CrossFit style workouts. There will be three (3) WODs per division. After the competition we will open up the 'Pen for a pre-game party for all competitors, judges and spectators!

When
Please enter through our Patio at the Pen' gate off of Royal Brougham, located on the North side of the stadium. We would encourage you to park in our Safeco Field Garage.
Registration opens: 6:00 a.m.
Athlete briefing: 7:30 a.m.
Competition begins: at 8:00 a.m. sharp
Competition concludes: 2:30 p.m. sharp

At the completion of the competition we will have every exit and re-renter in order to have your tickets scanned and head to the Outside Corner, where you will receive your drink voucher. The drink voucher will only be good for the Outside Corner from 4:10-6:10.

Giveaway
Every competitor will receive a T-shirt, drink voucher and a Main Level ticket to the Mariners game. Competition:

WOD 1
"Stealing Home"
TIME CAP-10 minutes
SCORE-Total # of Burpee Ground to Overhead (G2O)
4 person team
1 person will be in Tri-post Plank
1 person will be performing 7 Burpee G2O's (Rx-45/25)(Scaled-25/10)
2 people running 200m
*Once you are finished with 7 Burpee G2O's, you will switch with your partner and he/she cannot start Burpee G2O without partner in plank position. When team of 2 is complete with 14 Burpee G2O's, they will take off on 200m run. Score is as many Burpee G2O's as you can complete in 10 minutes. You cannot overtake your team and you must wait until opposite pair is complete before you start Burpee G2O. Both teams may be running at the same time.

WOD 2
"Moose Complex"
TIME CAP-9 minutes
SCORE-Total weight moved
4 person team
All bars will empty and weight will be positioned on side of bars.
At 3-2-1 go, first 2 same sex pairs will load bar and begin complex.
Complex consists of
1 Squat clean (can be power clean into front squat) standing all the way up
1 Thruster
1 Shoulder to Overhead
*At the completion of 4 minutes, other set of partners will begin their complex. You will have 1 minute of breakdown time at the end. You will have 1 set of 45's, 1 set of 25's, and 1 set of 10's. However you want to load the bar is up to you but it cannot be changed. Second group cannot begin until 4 minute mark.

WOD 3
"Legends of Safeco"
TIME CAP-15 minutes
SCORE-AMRAP in 15 minutes
4 person team
51 Abmat sit-ups
42 American KB Swings (Rx-53/35)(Scaled 35/26)
34 Box Jump overs
22 Goblet squats/22 Air squats for scaled
*Two same sex partners will start at abmat sit-ups, breaking up the work however they would like until the completion of the goblet squats. They will tag the other same sex partners who will go back up the ladder. Team of four will go as far as they can in the 15 minute time cap. Only 1 person may be working at a time.

ADULT/CHILD WODS

WOD 1
"The Grounder"
TIME CAP-7 minutes
SCORE-For time
100 burpees
100 slam ball over shoulder
*Athletes must come out of burpee and place feet on plate for burpee to count. Work can be broken up however the team would like.

WOD 2
"The Rundown"
TIME CAP-10 minutes
SCORE-For time
In sprint format
10m sprint-50 lateral hops
20m sprint-15 box jump overs
30m sprint-50 split lunges
*This will be in relay fashion. 1 partner will start, perform movement, then return and tag other partner.

WOD 3
"Can 'O Corn"
TIME CAP-10 minutes
SCORE-10 minute AMRAP
30m buddy carry-adult carries child
30 plank jump overs. Adult holding plank, while child goes over/under.
30m wheelbarrow back to start line.
*Score is as many rounds as you can complete for points awarded every 10m on the carry/wheelbarrow.

Additional Information
$5 of every ticket purchased will be donated to Upower. Upower provides free CrossFit classes to underserved teens in King County.

Spectators will be admitted into the ballpark starting at 7:00 a.m. All spectators must have a ticket to enter the ballpark for the event.
