June Calendar
June is a busy month at Safeco Field with two homestands that bring the White Sox, Yankees, Astros, Athletics, Pirates and Cubs to town.

Legendary closer Mariano Rivera and the New York Yankees make their only trip to Safeco Field beginning June 6. Mariners Hall of Famer Edgar Martinez will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game on June 6, which is the 5th Annual Martinez Foundation Night at Safeco Field. The outing is a fundraiser for the Martinez Foundation, which prepares and supports highly qualified teachers of color who are working to close the opportunity gap in Washington's schools.

Draft Central
MLB's First Year Player Draft begins June 6. The first two rounds and two Competitive Balance Rounds will be carried live on MLB Network and starting at 4pm PDT.
