It's all about star-studded softball action with a lot of laughs and surprises for the whole family. Mariners announcer Tom Hutyler will call the game as the shenanigans unfold, and miked-up news personalities will catch live interviews throughout. And don't forget: Kids run the bases after the game!
The All-Star Softball Classic shows struggling young people that our community stands with them and will fight for them. It says to the thousands of King County youth who didn't finish high school, and the hundreds who fall into homelessness, that they are needed and valued. Everybody needs help in the journey to adulthood-learning job skills, keeping a stable home, building a future. And we can all step up with crucial support.
