Eligibility: 2009 Chevy MLB Post Season May the Best Team Win Head to Head Matchup Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents (natural persons only) of the fifty 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (or of the legal age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older) as of 10/15/09. Employees, officers and directors of MLB Advanced Media, L.P. ("MLBAM," or "MLB.com" or "Sponsor"), the other MLB Entities (as defined below), General Motors Company ("GMC"), Project Support Team, Inc. ("Administrator"), and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, dealerships, governors, related entities, partners, partnerships, principals, licensees, sponsors, and advertising/promotion agencies and of all their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, "Released Parties"), and the immediate family members (parent, spouse, sibling, or child, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in the same household of each (whether or not related) are not eligible to participate or win. The "MLB Entities" shall mean MLBAM, the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, SportsOnEarth, LLC, Tickets.com, Inc., Major League Baseball Enterprises, Inc., Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., the Major League Baseball Clubs, and each of their subsidiaries or affiliated entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Major League Baseball Clubs or the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, and the directors, officers, employees and agents of the above entities. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation.
Promotion Period: Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01PM Eastern Time ("ET") on 10/15/09 and ends at 11:59:59PM ET on 11/5/09 ("Promotion Period"). The Sweepstakes will be divided into one (1) Grand Prize Drawing, five (5) Post Season Ticket Drawings, and twenty two (22) Daily Prize Drawings. For the purposes of this Sweepstakes, a day is defined as the 24-hour period beginning at 12:00:01AM ET and ending at 11:59:59PM ET with the exception of 10/15/09, which will begin at 12:00:01PM ET.
How To Enter the Grand Prize and Post Season Ticket Drawings: During the Promotion Period visit www.MLB.com, click on the applicable Sweepstakes banners, buttons and/or links to access the online Sweepstakes entry form. Follow the instructions provided to fully complete and submit the online entry form. By successfully transmitting a completed online entry form, you will receive one (1) entry into the Grand Prize Grand Prize Drawing and (1) entry into the applicable Post Season Ticket Drawing outlined below. Limit (1) Grand Prize entry and one (1) Post Season Ticket Prize entry per person, per email address, and per household per day during the Promotion Period, regardless of method of entry. Additional Grand Prize entries or Post Season Ticket Prize entries from any person, email address, or per household in excess of the stated daily limitation will be void. All Grand Prize and Post Season Ticket Prize entries must be received by the applicable deadline to be eligible for that drawing.
How To Enter the Daily Prize Drawing(s): There are two (2) ways to enter the Daily Prize Drawing(s): 1) Send-a-Friend: Once you have fully completed and submitted the online Grand Prize entry form (method #1 above), you will be given the option to complete and submit the optional "Send-a-Friend" form by entering the email address of one (1) friend. In the event that you choose to complete the "Send-a-Friend" form, you will receive one (1) Daily Prize entry for the applicable Daily Prize Drawing. 2) Mail: To enter the Daily Prize Drawing(s) via mail and receive (1) entry into the applicable Daily Prize drawing without completing and/or submitting the "Send-a-Friend" form, during the Promotion Period, hand-print your full name, complete mailing address, telephone number (including area code), and date of birth on a plain 3"x 5" piece of paper and mail it in a sealed envelope with proper postage affixed to: Head to Head Matchup May the Best Team Win Sweepstakes Daily Entry, P.O. No photocopied, computer generated facsimiles, mechanically reproduced, or mass entries or entries generated by script, macro or other automated means are permitted and all such entries will be voided. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible, late, damaged, inaccurate, misdirected, stolen, undelivered, garbled or mutilated entries, mail or email or postage-due mail; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines or telephone systems; lost entries, or transmissions; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in transmission, or communication; interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), cable, satellite or other connections including those through and/or by any website; miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or technical failures; non-delivery; misdirected, blocked, or delayed e-mail notifications; garbled, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; printing, typographical or other errors appearing within these Official Rules, in any Sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials; or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, telephone, electronic, mail or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, the cancellation or postponement of any game, errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, mail, or email, or the announcement of the prizes. Administrator and/or MLBAM, as applicable, reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an entrant who Administrator and/or MLBAM, as applicable, believe has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes or who is otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. The use of automated entry or similar devices to participate or subvert the entry process is prohibited and all entries through such devices are void. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any entrant, entrant will be deemed made by, as applicable, the person named on the applicable 3"x 5" mail entry or, if an online entrant, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry and he/she must be eligible according to these Official Rules. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Proof (to Administrator's satisfaction) of being the authorized account holder may be required by Administrator.
Grand Prize Drawing: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing on/about 11/16/09 from among all eligible entries received for the Grand Prize Drawing during the entire Promotion Period. Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by telephone, e-mail and/or postal mail (in Administrator's sole discretion) on/about 11/17/09. In the event that the selected potential Grand Prize winner declines the prize, is not eligible to accept the prize, does not comply with the terms of these Official Rules or if Sponsor or Administrator is unable to contact the potential winner within a reasonable time period, his/her prize will be forfeited and Administrator, at its sole discretion and time permitting, may select an alternate winner from among all remaining eligible entries.
Post Season Ticket Drawings: For each Entry Period listed below, the designated number of potential Post Season Ticket prize winners will be selected in an individual random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period for that drawing. The first randomly selected potential winner that answers a telephone call placed by Administrator notifying him/her of his/her potential winning status and who agrees to accept such prize will be declared the Post Season Ticket Prize winner, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these Official Rules. Messages will not be left on answering machines or with live persons and if an individual declines prize or is not available for any reason when called, his/her prize opportunity will be forfeited and, at Administrator's sole discretion and time permitting, an alternate winner may be selected from among all remaining eligible entries. Limit one (1) Post Season Ticket Prize per person, email address, family or household. Eligible entries received during one Entry Period will carry forward to subsequent Entry Periods and will be included in the Grand Prize drawing. Post Season Ticket Drawings will be conducted in accordance with the Entry Periods outlined below, beginning at 12:00:01AM ET and ending at 11:59:59PM ET on the specified start and end dates with the exception of 10/15/09, which will begin at 12:00:01PM ET:

If any potential Post Season Ticket Prize winner does not reside within a reasonable driving distance or is unable to attend any of the above listed Post Season Games an alternate prize to be selected in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor which shall be of comparable or greater value (e.g. MLB-related merchandise, MLB.com Gift Card, MLB.com Shop gift certificate, etc.) will be awarded in lieu of the game tickets. TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM GAME AND LODGING ARE NOT INCLUDED AND ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PRIZE WINNER. Game tickets are subject to availability and must be used on the dates specified by MLBAM (except for rain-outs) or prize will be forfeited and MLBAM will have no further obligation to such winner. Location of seats will be determined by MLBAM in its sole and absolute discretion. Major League Baseball game dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded will govern in the event a legal game or event, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played due to weather, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance or any other reason. Each Post Season Ticket Prize winner and his/her guest agree to comply with all applicable Major League Baseball and MLB Club stadium rules and regulations relating to the use of Major League Baseball game tickets and, in accordance therewith, agree not to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with any intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at such game. The applicable MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to any winner and/or any of his/her guest who engage(s) in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the game or event. Released Parties will not be responsible for Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game or event. Daily Prize Drawings: Twenty-Two (22) Daily Prize winners will be selected in a total of twenty-two (22) individual random Daily Prize Drawings (i.e. one (1) drawing for each day of Promotion Period) from among all eligible entries received for the applicable Daily Prize Drawing(s) per dates outlined below. The first Daily Prize Drawing will be held on/about 10/22/09 & the last Daily Prize Drawing will be held on/about 11/12/09. Each Daily Prize Drawing will be held from among all eligible entries received that correspond to each applicable day of the Promotion Period. For example, all eligible entries submitted on 10/15/09 and all eligible mail-in entries received by 10/21/09 will be included in the 10/15/09 Daily Prize Drawing. As mail is not collected on Sundays, mail received on Mondays (or Tuesday in the event that Monday is a federal holiday) will be entered into the applicable Sunday & Monday drawings to determine the respective Daily Prize winners. For example, eligible mail-in entries received on Monday, 10/26/09 will be included in the 10/17/09, & 10/18/09 Daily Prize drawings. Daily Prize winners will be notified by Administrator by telephone and/or mail. Non-winning entries from one Daily Entry Period drawing will not carry over into any other Daily Entry Period drawing. Limit one (1) Daily Prize per person, per email address, per immediate family member, and per household.
All drawings will be conducted by Administrator, an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning any prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. The decisions of MLBAM and/or Administrator, as applicable, will be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
Prizes: (1) Grand Prize: Winner's Choice of one (1) of the Following Chevy Vehicles: Option 1: 2010 Chevy Equinox LTZ Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price ("MSRP"): $36,525US; Option 2: 2010 Traverse LTZ MSRP: $45,815US; Option 3: 2010 Malibu LTZ MSRP: $28,745US; or Option 4: 2010 Silverado LTZ Extended Cab MSRP: $43,024US (Maximum MSRP=$45,815US). MSRP values are subject to change. Grand Prize Winner will be required to provide proof of possessing a valid U.S. automobile driver's license in good standing as well as appropriate automobile motor vehicle insurance prior to the Grand Prize (also referred to herein as a "Vehicle") being awarded. If the Grand Prize winner fails to provide such proof of possessing a valid automobile driver's license and/or appropriate automobile motor vehicle insurance within five (5) days of prize notification the Grand Prize will be forfeited. Exact model, color, options and specific Vehicle to be awarded as the Grand Prize are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and/or GMC, as applicable, and subject to availability from manufacturer. GRAND PRIZE DELIVERY: Grand Prize winner shall be required to pick up the Grand Prize at a location designated by the Sponsor and/or Administrator. Grand Prize Winner shall be required personally to accept delivery of the Vehicle and present adequate personal identification. Released Parties are not responsible for delays in delivery of the Vehicle. Sponsor and/or Administrator, however, shall use all reasonable efforts, subject to availability, to deliver the Vehicle within forty-five (45) days after confirmation of the Grand Prize Winner as provided above. Grand Prize Winner shall bear all risk of loss or damage to his/her Vehicle after it has been delivered to the specified delivery site, and if the Vehicle is not picked up within fifteen (15) days after the date the Vehicle is delivered to the specified designated dealer, the Vehicle shall be automatically forfeited by the Grand Prize Winner. EXCEPT AS STATED IN THE MANUFACTURER'S LIMITED WARRANTY FOR THE VEHICLE, THE RELEASED PARTIES MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE USE OR ENJOYMENT OF THE VEHICLE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THEIR QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Vehicle taxes (including state and local sales and use taxes), title, registration, license, gasoline, fees (including license, insurance and destination fees), maintenance, mileage, wear and tear, insurance, additional/optional equipment, cost of Grand Prize winner's travel to dealership and all other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are not included and are solely the Grand Prize winner's responsibility. By entering this Sweepstakes, Grand Prize Winner acknowledges and agrees that installations or alterations to the original equipment vehicle or chassis as distributed by GMC may void the GM New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Miscellaneous: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of prize permitted except by Sponsor, GMC and/or Administrator, who may substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with a prize of comparable or greater value at their sole and absolute discretion including, but not limited to, if a particular Vehicle is unavailable for whatever reason. However, Sponsor, GMC and/or Administrator reserve the right to change Vehicles and MSRP for any Event in their sole and absolute discretion, without notice. Each winner is responsible for all income, withholding, federal, state and local taxes as well any other costs or expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including, but not limited to, transportation, meals, gratuities and souvenirs (if the Grand Prize winner). Each potential winner may be required to submit his/her valid social security number and/or other identification to Administrator and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release within five (5) days of date of issuance. Non-compliance with any of the foregoing or these Official Rules may result in disqualification and, time permitting, awarding of prize to an alternate winner at Administrator's sole discretion from among all remaining eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. If any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable or if any potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, such potential winner will be disqualified and, time permitting, an alternate winner may be selected for the drawing at issue, at Administrator's sole discretion. By participating, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and agrees that (1) MLBAM and each of their respective designees shall have the right and permission to use (unless prohibited by law) entrant's name, address (city and state of residence), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, promotional and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without limitation and without further compensation or consideration, permission or notification to entrants or any third parties; and (2) Released Parties and their designees and assigns shall have no liability and will be held harmless for any liability, loss, injury or damage, including, without limitation, personal injury, death or damage to personal or real property, to entrant or any other person or entity due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize (including any travel or activity related thereto and/or any harm or injury resulting from the use of any Vehicle) and/or participation in this Sweepstakes. Administrator and MLBAM reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) or for any other reason and, in the event of termination at its discretion, select winner(s) for the drawing(s) at issue from those eligible, non-suspect entries received for the applicable drawing(s) prior to event requiring such termination.
