2010 will mark the second year for the Indians in Goodyear, AZ. The club's new facility, featuring a brand new ballpark and complex the Indians will share with the Cincinnati Reds, will be integrated into a mixed-use, urban "ballpark village" that will include office, retail, hotel and possible residential development.
Fifty-seven acres in the north of the development are planned for mixed-use development (office, restaurant, retail, hotel, conference center, residential) and a 10,000-seat major league ballpark for the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds in 2010. The ballpark will feature 8,000 stadium seats, 1,500 berm seats, six suites and a 500-seat party deck.
The south site, consisting of 185 acres is planned for a variety of uses including Spring Training practice fields and clubhouses for the Indians.
There will be parking in and around the ballpark for both cars and RV's. Cars and trucks will be charged $5.00/spot RV's will be charged $10.00/spot.
