The Milestone Tracker follows the progress of MLB players towards key career milestones, as well as top rankings in MLB, league and team history.
All players who have appeared in a game this season are evaluated for important milestones, including round-number values at the career, league or team level. In addition, the Milestone Tracker follows each player's ranking within the all-time top 50 in MLB history, the all-time top 25 in his current league, and the all-time top 20 with his current team.
Stats from the player's current season, previous season and career are weighted in a 3-2-1 ratio to determine the "milestone pace," and based on that pace, the Milestone Tracker projects how many more team games it will take the player to reach key milestones. If a player has appeared in fewer than five games in the current season, his current season pace is projected as if he had played in five games.
Based on the player's milestone pace, the Milestone Tracker counts ahead to find the projected date and game in which the milestone will occur. All milestones that are projected to occur during the current season, or within 10 games of the end of the season, are included in the results.
The results in the Milestone Tracker can be filtered based on a number of options:

Click on any team abbreviation in the results to view the relevant stats report for that team, or any stat abbreviation to view the all-time MLB, league or team leaders in that category.
Click the date of any projected or achieved milestone to view Gameday for that game, and click the "T-link" next to any projected milestone to purchase tickets for the game during which the milestone is projected to occur.
The milestone pace is re-calculated after every game, so the projected dates for any milestone may change, and new milestones may appear on the list if a player increases his pace towards that milestone, and existing ones may be removed if his pace slows down.
