Entering his second season on Terry Francona's coaching staff, beginning his post-playing career in 2012 as the Major League Advance Scout for the Toronto Blue Jays...In his first season with Cleveland, the relievers posted 33 wins, one shy of the franchise record set in 1993 (34) - also tied with KC for 3rd-most in MLB...Assisted Mickey Callaway in every facet of the staff, a group that posted a 3.82 ERA, 7th in the A.L., almost a run lower than the 2012 figure (4.78).

Played professionally for 12 seasons with six organizations from 2000-2011, including parts of 8 seasons in the Major Leagues with five different teams from 2002-10...Made Major League debut with Toronto on Sept. 6, 2002 and was the Blue Jays' opening day catcher in 2004...Caught all 30 of Tim Wakefield's starts in 2008 for Boston and homered in the ALCS vs. Tampa Bay... Played in the 2002 Future's Game.
