Named as Ned Yost's bench coach on September 30, 2011 after spending the 2011 campaign as a special assistant
to player development...Served as bench coach with the Atlanta Braves from 2007-2010 under future Hall of Fame manager Bobby Cox...Joined the Braves organization in 1996, serving for two seasons as the roving catching instructor before working
as the minor league field coordinator from November 1997 until he became bench coach...Cadahia moved into coaching in 1984 and worked for 12 seasons in the Texas Rangers organization as a pitching
coach for two seasons (1984-85) and then as a minor league manager for 10 years.
Playing Career
The catcher played in the minor leagues in the Phillies and Twins systems from 1977-1983, batting .250 in his
career with 24 home runs and 116 RBI in 473 games.

Chino and his wife, Lynn, reside in Scottsdale, Ariz...the couple has a daughter, Lauren.
