• Served as the Pitching Coach for Team Puerto Rico during the 2016 World Baseball Classic... Held the same role for Team Puerto Rico during the 2013 World Baseball Classic, where they finished second.

• Was the pitching coach for Caracas of the Venezuelan Winter League in 2011...His staff finished second in the league in ERA.

• Was a pitching coach in the Mets' minor league system for six years, from 2006-2011.

• From 2009-2011, he was the pitching coach for New York's Buffalo (AAA) team of the International League.

• In 2007 and 2008, he was with Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League.

• In 2006, he helped St. Lucie (A) of the Florida State League to a championship.

• From 2004-2005, he was with the Montreal Expos/Washington Nationals organization... In 2005, he was the pitching coach for Potomac (A) of the Carolina League...Held the same position for Savannah (A) of the South Atlantic League in 2004.

• Was named to the American League All-Star team in 1994, finishing the season 10-9 with a 3.43 ERA (65 earned runs/170.2 innings).

• Collected a career-high 11 wins in 203.2 innings in 1993...Won double-digit games for Milwaukee in three straight years (11 in 1993, 10 in 1994 and 10 in 1995).

• His wife, Wanda, is a first cousin of former major leaguer Ricky Ledee.
