Registration Details
Applicants must fill out and submit the registration form above to participate in this special online purchase opportunity. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on Monday, August 18, 2008 and closes at 5:00 p.m. ET on Monday, November 3, 2008 for Round 1 venues (Tokyo, Mexico City, Toronto & San Juan) and at 5:00 p.m. ET on Monday, November 24 for Round 2 and Finals venues (San Diego, Miami & Los Angeles) (the "Registration Period"). Worldbaseballclassic.com will then conduct a random selection of selected applicants from the pool of registrants. The selected applicants will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the 2009 World Baseball Classic. Exact dates, times and instructions for each ticket purchase will be communicated by e-mail to each applicant selected. If a selected applicant does not follow such instructions, he or she will forfeit the opportunity to purchase tickets. There is no charge to register for this opportunity. There is no obligation to purchase a ticket.
A ticket strip will consist of one (1) ticket to each game being held at each venue. For example, one strip of tickets for the games in Toronto will include one ticket for all six games at the Rogers Centre; two strips of tickets for the games in Toronto will include two tickets for all six games at the Rogers Centre; etc.

In order to be eligible for this opportunity, you must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. In addition, you must complete and submit the entry form located above during the time period commencing at 10:00 a.m. ET on Monday, August 18, 2008 and ending at 5:00 p.m. ET on Monday, November 24, , 2008. Limit one entry per person. In the case of multiple entries for the same individual, only the first entry received will be considered. Only entries submitted to worldbaseballclassic.com during the Registration Period will be entered in the random drawing. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other mechanical or automated means will not be valid. Please be sure to provide an accurate e-mail address. Random Drawing
Round 1 Venues: A random drawing for the opportunity to purchase strips of tickets for the 2009 World Baseball Classic will be held on or about Tuesday, November 4, 2008 and each applicant selected will be notified on or about Wednesday, November 5, 2008 via the e-mail address submitted on the registration form. Those applicants whose names are selected shall have an opportunity to purchase strips of tickets. Selected registrants will have the ability to purchase tickets starting on Tuesday, November 11. All ticket inventory is subject to availability and selection of a registrant does not guarantee inventory will be available to purchase for the venue(s) of their choice. Exact dates, times and instructions for each ticket purchase will be communicated by e-mail to each applicant selected. If a selected applicant does not follow such instructions, he or she will forfeit the opportunity to purchase tickets.
Round 2 & Finals Venues: A random drawing for the opportunity to purchase strips of tickets for the 2009 World Baseball Classic will be held on or about Tuesday, November 25, 2008 and each applicant selected will be notified on or about Monday, December 1, 2008 via the e-mail address submitted on the registration form. Those applicants whose names are selected shall have an opportunity to purchase strips of tickets. Selected registrants will have the ability to purchase tickets starting on Tuesday, December 2. All ticket inventory is subject to availability and selection of a registrant does not guarantee inventory will be available to purchase for the venue(s) of their choice. Exact dates, times and instructions for each ticket purchase will be communicated by e-mail to each applicant selected. If a selected applicant does not follow such instructions, he or she will forfeit the opportunity to purchase tickets.
