Once again, the Blue Jays Baseball Academy are offering local baseball associations across Ontario the opportunity to host a Blue Jays Honda Instructional Clinic for young players aged 8 to 14. Blue Jays Honda Instructional Clinics will be taking place from April to July. These clinics are an excellent fundraising opportunity for your local association and the clinics will compliment your local association's player development program.
Qualified Blue Jays Baseball Academy instructors will focus on teaching young players of all abilities the fundamental skills of baseball in a fun and structured atmosphere. Each clinic will be four hours in length. During the clinic, players will rotate through drills that will deal with skills such as: hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching and base running. We also invite coaches to come on to the field to observe and ask our instructors questions.
The Blue Jays Honda Instructional Clinic fee is only $40 per player. The Blue Jays Baseball Academy is aware of the need for local associations to raise funds to offset some of the rising costs they are experiencing, therefore local associations will receive $20 per registration for each clinic. In 2015, the Blue Jays Baseball Academy donated almost $50,000 back to amateur baseball associations in Ontario. The Blue Jays Baseball academy will process the registrations and payments on bluejays.com and will provide all of the necessary equipment for the clinic. Clinic donations will only be granted to minor baseball associations.
