Field set for Olympic Games baseball competition
The IBAF Final Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Taiwan last month marked the end of the baseball qualification process for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Advancing from the event were Canada, Chinese Taipei and Korea. They will join Team USA, China, Cuba, Japan and The Netherlands this summer in Beijing. The eight-team field is one of the deepest and strongest in Olympic baseball history. More »

2008 National Team Schedule unveiled
The USA Baseball National Team (Collegiate) will once again have a busy summer in 2008. The team's schedule is highlighted by a six-game series in the U.S. against the Chinese Taipei National Team -- the series will feature one game at the USA Baseball National Training Complex and three games at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park –- and a trip to Europe that includes appearances in the Honkbol Tournament in The Netherlands and in the IV FISU World Collegiate Baseball Championship in the Czech Republic. USA Baseball and the Town of Cary, N.C., host 6th Annual Spring Training Clinic on April 12
Registration is still open for the 6th Annual Spring Training Clinic on April 12, hosted by USA Baseball and the Town of Cary, N.C. The clinic, to be held at the USA Baseball National Training Complex for the first time, will feature drills led by past and present USA Baseball coaches and staff members. Instruction for 6-to-12-year-olds will be from 9 a.m.–noon, followed by students ages 13-15, who will be on-field from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. More »
