XM Futures Stars USA Team to have Olympic feel
With the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games only a month away, rather than having an All-Star Futures Game team of top prospects from the United States, the U.S. squad will act as an Olympic trials team which will square off against the World Team. The nine-inning game begins at 12:30 p.m. ET in Yankee Stadium on July 13, and it will be broadcast live by ESPN2, ESPN2 HD and on XM Satellite Radio. Olympic manager Davey Johnson will head the U.S. Futures team.

The USA Baseball National Team has jumped out to a 3-0 record in pool play at Haarlem Baseball Week in the Netherlands. The National Team next faces the Netherlands on July 9. Following HBW, the U.S. will travel to the Czech Republic for the FISU World Collegiate Baseball Championships.
