Nationals Season Ticket Holder Picnic
Highlights include:
  • Concourse Activities:
    player autographs*, player photos*, balloon artists, bounce house, Q&A with players and coaches
    *Autographs and photos w/ players are not guaranteed
  • On-Field Activities*:
    run the bases (for all fans!), walk through the Nats dugout, throw a pitch in a bullpen
    *All on-field activities are weather permitting
  • One (1) complimentary hot dog, chips and soda per person
    (Food and beverage vouchers will be mailed to the account holder of record.)
To thank you for your support this season, the Nationals invite you to join us at Nationals Park for a day of fun with fellow fans and the team.

The deadline to RSVP is Friday, September 12, 2008 at 5 p.m. Please click the grey button below to indicate whether you plan to attend this exciting event and the number of guests that will be joining you.

  • Parking is available on a first come, first served basis in the following lots and garages: Garages B, C, H, Valet parking garage, and Lot K (Refer to nationals.com/waytogo for information on location of parking garages and lots.)
  • Fans may begin parking in these lots and garages beginning at 11 a.m. and must exit these lots and garages by 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 20.
  • Nats Express will be running from RFK Stadium and dropping fans off and picking them up at the corner of First and N Streets beginning at 11 a.m. and ending at 4:15 p.m. Fans may leave their vehicle at RFK Stadium all day (if they are attending the Nationals game that evening.)
  • Each account holder of record may bring the same number of guests as they have season tickets. For example, if you own four (4) season tickets, four (4) people may attend the picnic. As this is an exclusive event only for our season ticket holders, no additional tickets will be issued or sold for the picnic.
  • Please use the Exclusive Season Ticket Holder Event ticket(s) located in the back of your season ticket books (or mailed to you along with your season tickets) for entry into the park for the picnic. Those fans who have misplaced their event tickets may call 202.675.6287, Option 1, then Option 1 for assistance.
  • Entrance for the picnic will be at the Center Field Gate

Picnic in the Park Q&A
Q: What is Picnic in the Park?
A: A private event for season ticket holders. The picnic is Saturday, September 20 from noon - 3:00 pm. Our game against San Diego will begin at 7:10 p.m. that night but fans will have to exit the park when the picnic ends at 3:00 p.m.

Q: Who is eligible?
A: All 2008 season ticket holders.

Q: Where is the picnic?
A: At Nationals Park. Fans will have access to the Main and Mezzanine Concourses and limited areas on the field.

Q: Where can I park?
A: Limited parking is available on a first come, first served basis in the following lots and garages: Garages B, C, H, Valet parking garage and Lot K. Please go to nationals.com/waytogo for directions and locations of these garages and lots. Fans may begin parking in these garages and lots at 11:00 am and must exit these facilities by 3:30 pm on Saturday, September 20.

Q: Can I take Nats Express to the picnic?

Entrance into the park will be through the Center Field Gates.

Q: How many guests may I bring?

Q: How long is the picnic expected to last?
A: From noon - 3:00 p.m.

Q: What activities will be featured?
A: Player Q & A, autograph and photo sessions, raffles, speed pitch, bounce house, tours of the Nats dugout and bullpen, a DJ and other entertainment. (Autographs and photos with players are not guaranteed and all on-field activities are weather permitting.)

Q: Can I bring in my own food?
A: ThatÂ’s not necessary! Each account holder of record will be sent the same number of food vouchers as they have season tickets. These vouchers may be redeemed for a complimentary hot dog, bag of chips and a soda. (No food or drink will be allowed onto the field.)

Q: Can I bring my own camera?
A: Yes.

Q: What if it rains?
A: Field activities will be suspended but arrangements will be made to proceed with other activities under cover at the park.

Q: What items are prohibited down on the field?

Q: Do toddlers need a ticket?
A: In accordance with our ballpark policy, fans under two years of age do not need a ticket for this event.
