Built in the image of the Roman Coliseum, The Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome is a true testament to the progressive technologies incorporated into baseball stadium building. While its architecture celebrates a historical venue, its design is state of the art: the stadium was Japan's first built with a retractable roof. The ballpark provides beautiful views for fans in every seat, and it even includes removable seats flanking both sides of the field to provide optimal spacing for various sporting events.
This stadium is also experienced in hosting large-scale events; in addition to being the home park of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks baseball team, it has also accommodated numerous concerts.
