Dallas Tigers capture 10U Super Series championship
Will play at NYBC in Memphis starting Aug. 27
McKINNEY, Texas -- The Dallas Tigers qualified for the 10U National Youth Baseball Championship by posting a 7-2 victory over the McKinney Marshals.

The Tigers went 2-0 in pool play, outscoring their opponents 19-2 to capture the No. 1 seed in the double-elimination bracket.

In bracket play, the Tigers began their quest of the national championship by putting away the Corpus Christi Rovercats. 7-1, and then added bracket wins over the McKinney Marshals 9-1, and Texas Boom, 5-2.

The Marshals fought back through the losers' bracket, but the Tigers again dominated with the championship victory.

The Dallas Tigers are managed by Coppell, Texas, dentist Glynn Soloman.
